2004 - Freehold Country Inn
6.94 - 7.5, 7, 7, 7, 7, 7, 7, 6
Maybe
it was the cold, miserable month, or maybe the whole winter that spawned the
suggestion of staying close to home for this month’s dining.
Or maybe it’s because we have one of (I believe) the best restaurants
around within just a few miles of all of our homes.
Or maybe it’s just good to stay close to home and give the locals our
business occasionally (per Don). Any
one or all of those reasons is reason enough to dine at the Freehold Country
Inn. It’s also a great incentive
to get out of the house on a dark cold night.
The editor can not remember at whose house this evening started (maybe it
was ours). I do remember however,
that the evening included the expected wonderful meals and service that we all
have come to expect at the “ Inn
”.
The
Up Side - The food, the service, the
desserts, the cocktails… what else is there???
The
Down Side – Our poor Deb T. had one of her migraines and all I can say is it
must have been a doosie, because she didn’t even eat her favorite, scallops.
Oh dear, I hope she felt
better the next day to enjoy the doggie bag!!!
