February 2003  -  George Mann Tory Tavern
7.42 - 8, 7.5, 7.5, 7.5, 7, 7 (2 absent)

It was touch and go for a while, but the weather took a turn for the better and we ventured into Colonial Schoharie County for an evening of dining at the George Mann Tory Tavern.
The up side - Dressed in traditional colonial garb, our waiter was both efficient and informative. There was this great lime sorbet to cleanse our palate between courses, which some of us had again for dessert. Judy had the best bass (or was it trout?) ever she said and the pork roast was very attractively presented, with a taste to match. As always, much entertaining conversation and laughter.
The down side – I honestly couldn’t think of one, except we missed the Monteverds again (is this a pattern developing?) Was it me, or were we the youngest people in the restaurant (or do I not yet know that I am as old as them? Please don’t tell me, I don’t think I want to know...)
