Back up the mountain to Windham (remember, very picturesque, even at night) to Madison’s (the former Thetford’s).  A very busy Saturday night with skiers, etc.  The Monteverds were missing again (is it really their social calendar or are they trying to tell us something???)
   The up side - As I remembered from the old Thetford’s, the food was excellent and portions were generous.
   The down side - Very, very leisurely dining.  Service came with a smile, but was exceptionally slow. But that’s o.k. – there was plenty of good conversation, well, maybe not good...
